Beyond Biomass: Carbon Sequestration & Carbon Credits

The pyrolysis process is the process of converting organic material into biochar. Here, we convert coconut shells into a stable form of carbon. Biochar resists decomposition, preventing the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Instead, the carbon remains effectively concealed and in doing so, biochar plays a role in carbon offset markets generating carbon credits and providing an additional revenue stream.
